Sodexo's Again Named One of World's Best Outsourcing Companies

Sodexo has been ranked third among the world's leading outsourcing services companies by an industry association, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®)

Issy-les-Moulineaux, April 27, 2010 - Sodexo has been ranked third among the world's leading outsourcing services companies by an industry association, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®)1. It is the fifth straight year that Sodexo has been ranked in the top five companies of the Global Outsourcing 100®. For the third year in a row, Sodexo was the highest-ranked company in its industry category, “Facility Services.”

In ranking outsourcing firms from throughout the world, IAOP looks at companies' client testimonials, outsourcing experience, workforce skills and training, professional certifications, the track record of the management team and the quality of its customer services. Among the categories in which Sodexo achieved the highest possible score this year were Customer References, Global Presence and Executive Leadership.

This latest recognition follows a recent series of honors earned by Sodexo and its teams, including:

  • named one of the world's "Most Admired Companies" for 2010 by FORTUNE Magazine
  • selected in Sustainable Asset Management (SAM)'s 2010 Sustainability Yearbook as "SAM Sector Leader 2010" and “SAM Gold Class 2010”

  • listed for the fourth consecutive year as “Global Super Sector Leader” by the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI).
